It’s been nearly 20 years since i’ve visited this wonderful park.  Over the last year i’ve been intending to take Bertie to see all the exotic animals and great shows however with work commitments and life getting in the way we haven’t made it but he has been with Grandparents on two occasions.  Every time he returns his face is red with excitement, when Grandma and Gumps took him he visited the Postman Pat Village, i’m pleased I missed this as i’d rather stick pins in my eyes and somewhere in the animal enclosure he lost his hat sticking his head out of the window and proceeded to shout “Grandma, my hat, my hat, we have to go back and get it!” it may have been a lovely Next one but there was no way my mum was going to go back.  A lot more has been added since I went such as Rockin Rhino, Penguin Island and Stingray Bay.  If I wasn’t due to give birth in October I would be tempted to book tickets to go for the day in October half term, they are offering a 15% reduction if you book tickets online at least two days in advance.  If you have a family of four with one child under three (under three are free) the price will be £73.80 and this includes October half term week, not a cheap day out but certainly one to be the highlight of the week.  Concessionary rates are also available so if you decide to take the Grandparents (60+) they aren’t full adult prices or just send the kids with the Grandparents, you stay at home therefore everyone has a great time.
