PARTY TIME – The Best Prosecco Offers

The other week I hosted a dinner party and had to watch my friends happily gluging away at the Prosecco, knowing their heads would be hurting in the morning I was still jealous I couldn’t join in.  Champagne has always been lost on me and Cava is too dry without any additional flavours so Prosecco has been the one for me and as it’s nearly time to wet the baby’s head celebrate Halloween / Bonfire night / Christmas / New Year very soon so surely it’s time to stock up.  Here are the best offers on Prosecco in the major supermarkets at the moment.

Waitrose:

Valdo Oro Puro Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene, Veneto, 1/3 off, reduced from £13.49 to £8.99.  Rated by Waitrose customers as 4.7 star and won silver in the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2014.

Italia Collezione Prosecco Brut NV, 1/3 off reduced from £11.99 to £7.99.  Waitrose customers rate it as 4.5 star and won Bronze in the IWSC 2014.

Both offers are on until the 7th October 2014.

Morrisons:

Italia Prosecco, 75cl is reduced by 30% from £9.99 to £6.99.

Asda:

Fillipo Sansovino Millesimato Brut Prosecco, 75cl is reduced by 17% from £8.50 to £7.00. This Prosecco won Bronze in the IWSC 2014.

Tesco:

Tesco Finest Bisol Prosecco, 75cl is reduced by 22% from £8.99 to £6.99.  This offer is valid until 14th October 2014.

Sainsburys:

Canti Prosecco, 75cl is reduced by 25% from £9.00 to £6.75.

Aldi:

Belletti Prosecco Spumante, reduced from £5.69 to £5.39, it’s the lowest reduction of 5% but still the cheapest overall and it was the Winner of the International Challenge 2014.  For my mum’s 60th birthday party I bought her and her friends 15 bottles, it all went and even thoguh they’re used to drinking more expensive drinks than me they were all impressed.  I have to admit this is the one I usually buy and I always love it.

Marks and Spencer:

If it’s more than one bottle you’re after Marks and Spencers are selling a case of six bottles of Prosecco for £48.00 reduced from £59.94 a saving of 19%, or £8 per bottle.  The reviews on their site award it a five star.

So these are the best deals on Prosecco at the moment,  I think i’m going to try something different this time and go for the Waitrose Valdo Oro Puro Prosecco and buy one for each celebration only for me to drink between now and New Years.

Amy

NB. Please drink responsibly.
