As I’m sat here watching Jamie Oliver Comfort Food I keep thinking about all the lovely wedding gifts we received last year. Even though we had lived together for three and a half years at the time we were about to install a new kitchen, so the utensils from both our University days had to go, as did my Grandmother’s plates, we still have her bone china mugs but not the nice looking ones. So our gift list consisted of everything we wanted for our new kitchen with a few Le Creuset products, my Husband picked the biggest casserole dish in John Lewis and I remember the
argument discussion about whether we would use something so big, I didn’t think we would but he said it doesn’t matter if it’s too big we can still use it, anyway he won that one. I use it a lot and love it, I hope he doesn’t read this because I’ll get the “I am always right” chat and as the baby was due Monday I won’t be responsible for my actions. I never thought I’d find their Cookware on offer but at the moment House of Fraser have made reductions.
This one is my favourite, the Le Creuset Oven Mitt, the magnet attached makes it easy to store on the fridge next to our oven. Now £14.40.
The 24 cm round Casserole Dish is the one we own, it’s great for making curries, stews and my favourite braised red cabbage, it’s is still £116 but when it’s reduced from £145 it’s still a 20% saving. Always one to put on your Christmas list.
The range is vast so have a look yourself, the sale includes the Cast Iron Cookware in Cream, Black, Volcanic, Red, Coastal Blue, Black Satin, Almond, Marseille Blue, Cassis, Teal and Cerise.
