I had to wait until I was 10 until I got my first camera. I still think about it now. 10. 10. 10. I was desperate for one from about the time I was 8 when Smash Hits did an offer for a one that was turquoise with “Smash Hits” written on it in pink writing. I wanted it so badly. But it wasn’t to be, I was too young. Fair enough but interestingly 2 years later when I got my super silver 110 film one for Christmas (remember those?), Amy got the same one at the same time. She was 6. Funny how those parameters reduced at the same time as they were upheld hey? It still irks me now as you can probably tell and my Parents are more than aware of it. I mention it every now and again to remind them.
So, I’m flying in the face of any made-up age restrictions and have bought Emmie one for Christmas. This is her 4th Christmas and 2nd with James. He was deployed for her first two which was a bit rubbish and I’m hugely appreciative of the fact that he’s with us again this year. Something I’ll never take for granted.
So what’s Father Christmas bringing our 3 year old? The following includes toys from the long-list. She most definitely does not have all of this arriving in her stocking this year.
Binatone 100 Twin Walkie Talkies Was £22.99 now £19.99 at Toys R Us
