At this time of year, it’s not just the copious amounts of presents that need wrapping, the cold weather means that our babies need bundling up too. We’ve had our fair share of low temperatures here in recent weeks and the German phrase “there’ s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing” has been well and truly embraced.
That said, when I was packing up the house to move, I also packed the most important element of Joseph’s outdoor clothing. I was over the moon to get it out of confinement this week when we waded through the thousands of boxes the removals van delivered.
I think most of us have encountered the JoJo Maman Bebe Polarfleece Baby All-In-One on our travels. If you haven’t, take a look at the photos below and tell me you haven’t seen a toddler bumbling around in one ever before? They are amazing. Super warm, cosy with fold over hand and foot cuffs and they come in great colours and designs. Easy to put on and take off, they’re perfect for all the baby-wearing I do in the winter when we’re out and about.
Now, admittedly, this shop isn’t known for its low price points and at a cheeky £39.00, we’re talking a child’s winter investment piece. That said, they are such good quality, made from recycled polyester pre-pilled fleece, that they’ll definitely stand the test of time and multiple, messy children. I bought mine second-hand from a friend though and as I was walking in the woods this morning, congratulating myself on its return to use, I wondered what the ebay market looked like for them? And the answer is that it looks good! Currently there are multiple sizes and colours being advertised for approximately £15.00 (including postage). Bargainous. Some of them look like they’ve barely been worn.
I’d highly highly recommend one for babies around 2 and under. I can promise you it won’t disappoint.
