I’m not normally into making resolutions because if I do, I’ve generally broken them by my birthday which is mid-January. But this year I’ve been taking time (approximately 2.6 seconds daily) to look after myself slightly better. I’ve kept to a fairly regular exercise routine, cleansed, toned and moisturised daily, maintained my vitamin intake and altered my dietary habits to make me feel healthier. Little tweaks here and there, rather than a mammoth January 1st start mean that I’ve actually kept it all up this year.
Before I get all “look at me, look at me”, there’s one thing I really do have to change immediately in 2015. My feet. They. Are. Gross. My monthly summer pedicures are long gone and in their place the most disgusting of hooves have grown. They repulse me. Kind of like the lady’s I saw in the central Leeds Morrisons in 1998 whose heels were so cracked you could lose a 10 pence piece in them. Ugh. That thought still makes me vomit a little in my mouth to this day!
So, I’ve been researching foot files and I’ve plumped on a Ped Egg as well as the thickest natural shea butter to rid the hard skin. That said, I’ve heard amazing things about the Soap and Glory Foot Buffer but it’s harder to come by in my neck of the woods. If you wanted to go all out and spend a few more £££ then the Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electronic Foot File is currently reduced by £10.00 at Boots.
Have you shredded your feet with any of these before? I’ll be sure to update you on my progress. I bet you can’t wait!
