It’s been a fairly purchase-light week, well I say that, but as I start to mentally list everything out, maybe not so much!
I’ve heard brilliant things about this vegetarian Thug Kitchen recipe book. As the start of spring means that we move our cooking to the barbeque for most of our meals, I really wanted some vegetable inspiration. I can’t wait for it to fall through the letterbox. I actually ordered two; one has already been delivered to a friend as a birthday present and she was thrilled with it.
A Rapunzel dress. It was supposed to be Cinderella but our local shop didn’t have any and I’d promised Emmie a new dressing up dress to add to her vast collection. As Tangled was her Easter present (she doesn’t do chocolate!), I figured it’d be an ok replacement. And it was, although I did sense a touch of 3-year old disappointment which did make me feel slightly guilty for not being able to get the right one!
This shopper. I don’t actually know why I need it but the grey and yellow called my name and I just had to have it. I was thinking summer beach bag / picnic bag / swim bag / chuck everything in bag / nappy bag. It was in Aldi and although I can’t find it on the website, keep an eye out. They had lots of different colours.
A weekend away in the Champagne region in France through Airbnb. This is the pool at the gîte. I just can’t wait. They can even organise massages for you onsite. I am slightly beside myself at this.
Velux blinds are hardly the most exciting thing in the world but if you do need them at any stage, Loftblinds.co.uk is the place to order them from. They were significantly cheaper than the Velux site, arrived within days and were a doddle to put up. Total result.
No clothes for me but lots of great things to make my life more enjoyable. The blinds were especially needed now that the nights and mornings are lighter.
Have a fantastic weekend. We’re off to a Street Food Festival – yum!
