New year’s resolution update – Amy’s February edit

So Lucy, gave her feedback at the beginning of January. That’s easy, anyone can stick to something for a month. I got the short straw and am reporting on the first two months of the year.

Keep the house tidier. When I’m not in my house it’s very tidy. But let’s be honest, if you know me at all, that was never going to happen. But the fact is I thought about it, I tried it and I now know that it’s probably never going to be in my skill set. I’m very much aware of that and I can move on happily!

No screens one evening a week. Yep. This one has a huge tick next to it. I got the newest Phillipa Gregory The Taming of the Queen, for Christmas so I’ve had my head happily stuck in that instead of watching the TV a few nights per week.

Eat less sugar. Sugar makes me tired, isn’t any good for my skin and is just a waste of delicious calories. I’m very happy to report that this is a yes too. I’ve been careful to restrict my intake and it’s made me feel so much better. As delectable as all sugar-laden foods are, removing it from my diet has only had positive effects on me and my life. I can’t say that I’ll maintain this forever but for now I’m pleased with what I’ve seen.

Happy March everyone. I’m looking forward to Easter, the clocks moving forward and hopefully some warmer weather!
